Disease and its causes

A disease  is defined as an abnormal condition of an organism which affects the functions of its body. The disease develops conditions of pain, dysfunction, injuries, syndrome and may lead to  death of the person affected.

Many diseases are caused by malnutrition so they are called as deficiency diseases.

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies have been two of the basic causes of disease in both human and animal.

Mineral deficiency diseases:

  • heart disease and heart attacks due to the deficiency of selenium, copper and calcium,

  • strokes and ruptured aortic aneurysm due to the deficiency of copper,

  • arthritis and bone diseases due to the deficiency of calcium and boron,

  • mental depression and hyperactivity due to the deficiency of calcium,

  • hypoglycemia and fatigue due to the deficiency of chromium and vanadium,

  • blood problems due to a deficiency of iron,

  • neurological irregularities to the deficiency of potassium and magnesium,

  • lack of bacterial resistance to the deficiency of sulphur.

Vitamin deficiency diseases:

  • scurvy due to vitamin C deficiency,

  • neurological development problems and pernicious anemia due to vitamin B 12 deficiency,

  • rickets and joint disorders due to vitamin D deficiency,

  • cancer and cataracts due to vitamin E deficiency,

  • numerous metabolic problems due to various vitamin deficiencies.

Oxygen deficiency diseases:

Oxygen is very vital for our body. The lack of oxygen also leads to disorders which can have the symptoms like: stomach acid, bacterial, viral, parasitic infection, bronchial, chronic hostility, circulation problems.

It can also lead to depression, dizziness, fatigue, reduced immunity to colds, flu and infections, loss of memory l, muscle pains, overall body weakness, poor digestion, tumors, deposit buildups.
